Hidden Weight is Back – With a Twist!

The Hidden Weight is back again this year but we’re doing things a little differently.

Instead of doing one Hidden Weight for the entire derby we are doing a Hidden Weight for each individual weigh station!!!!

Each Weigh Station will be accepting fish as usual but now you could possibly win at each weigh station their special Hidden Weight prize!

The Winner will be determined after the derby but all fish between 4 and 6 lbs will qualify for the Hidden Weight prize! The exact Hidden Weight for each Weigh Station will be determined at 4 PM Sunday afternoon!

A great article about the local community cleaning up trash in the Moira River.

“Every year we are getting less and less trash,” she said. “We have been doing this since the 1980s and just a few years ago we would have a huge dumpster onsite that would fill to almost overflowing, easily dwarfing the amount we will get today.”

QFS Quinte Classic Winners Articles

Here is a quote and a link to an article in the Intelligencer about some of the winners of the Quinte Fishing Series 2010 Quinte Classic.

The Asselstines had built up a substantial lead in earlier QFS events and managed to hang onto top spot when the top 40 teams hit the water last weekend.

“We had a great year but were a little worried after Day 1,” said Darcy. “We thought if we could weigh-in around 14 pounds each day we would be okay and we were able to do that.”
