Where to fish with smaller boat ?

    Hi everyone
    Newbie here with first post.
I ice fished quinte last year down around Brighton and point saint Ann.

I live near Barrie and don't know Quinte at all ! I don't know how rough it gets out there.

I have a open 16 ft boat with a 40 hp on it side console ect. And I was wondering if you could advise me as to an area of quinte for fall fishing that might offer some protection from waves and a good chance to catch a fish or two.
I don't mind rough water too much but I fish with my daughter mostly and she likes it a bit calmer.

I'd really appreciate any assistance you would offer.

    Thanks
    Best regards !

We fished many years in a 16 with a 40hp.
One thing about the bay is there are many places to fish.
Depending on the direction of wind depends on where to launch and fish.

    Like always.......

I have seen Big Bay blow up pretty good but most other places its pretty tame. As Jack says if you have the choice where to launch you can avoid the wind and rough water.
After 250 days a year on the water and ice I still feel I need more Time on the Water
