    It won't be long now!

    Hopefully we will have a month of soft but cold water fishing before this happens

    After 250 days a year on the water and ice I still feel I need more Time on the Water

    Looks like a break in the wind for the latter part of the week and the weekend. I guess I better head down before the ice cubes ;D

    That picture brings back memories. These huts are in my favorite spot at first ice. 3:30 in the afternoon was always prime time. Lots of fish caught here. Great picture. I'll add, you should be careful in this area at first ice because there are strong currents.

    I can be dicey along there so you do need to know where and when. But as you say there are a lot of fish in the right spots. Do you think it is safer near Hay Bay?
