    Re: tapatalk

Yes, we will have tapatalk shortly and the site will be running on new software and on a new server.

We should have everything running in the newer better format shortly

    Reason for the change?

One thing that always drove me nuts is not having common features available on other social media like the ability to click a button and load a picture from your computer without having to load it somewhere else first and re-size it.
When we get results in a certain format if I paste them in a post they lose their format and it looks like crap. If I have a document and I want to paste it, it should look the same as it did when I copied it.

When I post a google map or some other dynamic format for an event I want it live so you can use it as it was intended.

When someone posts a great fishing report with detail and pictures suitable as an article in any magazine it should be kept as an article and posted in a section under that author. We have so much talent and expertise on our boards and it deserves more time than just a day or two in the fishing reports.
If someone sponsors our site they should also be seen across all of our sites giving them as much exposure as possible.

These and a bunch of other features that make member tasks easier and more enjoyable are in the new software along with some development from Bruce.

As for the server change, I want the forums to be fast with zero wait time and available on any mobile device using more than one app. We outgrew the other server but now we won’t have to move again for a long long time.

Thank you for your patience and I hope you enjoy the new site. (after all the small bugs are worked out)
