She is finally gone for the season
I finally bit the bullet and took the research ranger in to be winterized. Its a sad day. We had so many great days on the water and she never complained once. If I pushed her button she would start every time even in the nastiest weather. I let her get filthy and even hit a few rocks but when she got out of the boat hospital with a new bottom end she never once tried to get back at me.
I could tell she wanted to be put to sleep for the winter. Day after day sitting in the driveway staring out at the lake. It was the humane thing to do. I'll miss her until April when we just can't walk on water anymore.
Its a sad day.

Perhaps you shouldn't wait until April. Might want to fish down here for Browns late March. Let's pray for a warm Spring.

I know what you mean John, every time I go in the garage I see my boat with the lawn furniture piled up in the boat.

I'm heading over to Couchiching this afternoon to test the ice. If the nights stay cold I'll head to Quinte Tuesday.

Put mine to sleep today and talked about the ice. Sad day but made plans to get on the ice.

Mine went to sleep last week but guess I could have done it much earlier.
Spent more time fishing and having fun in the "Research Ranger" than my own... :-)
