Cold nights coming - should be walking on wat

Every night from here on in is - 7 to 12 so if we can get one windless cold night that would be a great start.
After 250 days a year on the water and ice I still feel I need more Time on the Water

On average at -10 we make 1 inch per day with no snow. If that actually holds true, we should make 4 inches over the next 4 or 5 days. Perfect conditions are light wind overcast.

    Converting C to F -7c = 19.4 f

When I say Okay I don't mean to walk on, I mean the wind might not effect it. I guess it depends on the direction. I guess a big south wind could raise the water level enough to crack thin ice.

It looks like Simcoe skimmed over last night as far as I can see. Did the inner bay skim again?

I went down to Potters Creek this morning and it was a good site to see, the ice is starting to form again, the temps are going to stay below zero and it looks like ice making time!!!! going back down to have another look Friday, we should have at least 3 or more inches by then hopefully..We will let you know. If I had a magic wand Pickerel Killer, we would have bin out there long before now.LOL ... ;D
