    Season update

The bite on quinte the last two weeks has been pretty decent. It is a mixed spread taking fish with no one bait being much better then any other. Just playing with lures and depths until you dial a bite in has been the most effective method. The pattern will hold for a few days then completely change overnight with something totally different working for the next day or so, but all boats are reporting decent catches on a regular basis.

Here are a few pictures from the last week or so.

    Double header!

Surprise far pike that just held on to a worm harness. No hooks at all in his mouth. He just grabbed the line and held on for the ride. Lol

Lots of 2-3 lb fish to be had but some bigger ones are always around.

These guys wanted some fresh fish on the bbq. Poor guys couldn't even get a break for lunch. The fish kept on coming in.

After all the practice they were running the deck by themselves.

    Quinte gold!!

I often have a liners that want to put a fish on the grill for lunch. I use the bbq grill mats they sell at the shows. It works great.
