    First Quinte report.

The last week has brought some consistent fishing. For the most part I have been out at the gap. Lots of sheepie's but there are walleye mixed in so I have stayed and picked away at them. Landed a 20.0 lb sheep that was a blast. If I have clients that are trophy walleye hunters then I'll leave the sheepie's and look for more concentrated schools of walleye but this week has been clients content to have time on a rod so landing sheep with walleye every 3 or 4 fish has been acceptable. Purples and green have been the best colours. 25-30 ft down is the strike zone.
