    Kingston Area Fishing

    is there any browns right now at the mouths of the creeks or anything that seem to be on right now taking the wife fishing for the first time thought i would try to give her a good first time experience?

    Hi Walleyehunter...

    Although I haven't tried this year, I've had success fishing browns at the Hydro Plant past Bath using floats with liver or spoons. If you can get a day that the water outtake from the plant is flowing, it's always better. Also, after walleye opens, I've seen some huge walleye just at dusk cruising the shore line there.

    Also, Collins Bay creek should have rainbows sticking around at either the Bath Rd. bridge or go thru the subdivision there and walk over the train tracks to fish other parts of the river.
