Cool Just another new face here

Hi all. I am new to this forum but not to many other forums. I have been a sport fisherman almost all of my 50+ years and look forward to trying new waters on a regular basis. My brother live out in Amherstville (Kingston) and I keep promising to bring my boat, 20' Legend Xcaliber out to fish with my nephews. Reading this board and asking questions I figured might not be a bad place to start.

Hello Stephen. I'm new as well. I have not got a response from anyone in the forum yet. It's not a huge gathering. I suggest, you may want to join Ontario out of doors. About 3000 members and a pile of activity. Where do you hang your hat if not in Kingston! Welcome aboard.

Thanks for the welcome. I call Elora (north of Guelph) home and it makes getting to a lot of fishing areas easy. I've spent the last few years on Lake O out of Grimsby with the boat, targeting salmon and lakers. We plan to change it up this year by spending more time on Erie out of Port Bruce area. It will be nice to get into some walleye again as well as a few feeds of perch and the beaches out on Erie kill compared to Lake O. With the Canada 150 providing free lock passage we thought spending a week or two out in Trenton area might be a nice change as well.
